marlene lacasse

Marlene Lacasse is a creative director and producer based in Los Angeles with a background in filmmaking, digital marketing, and photography. Marlene studied art and cinema at the University of Michigan.

For over a decade, she has experimented with film photography, challenging the boundaries of a traditional medium with “film soups” - a unique process where film is physically altered with ingredients that reflect the subjects or locations of her images. Through this process, the physical alteration of the film creates unexpected, surreal swirls of color with a unique aesthetic. Marlene personally hand-develops all of her film.

Marlene has a background in pushing the boundaries of storytelling in cinematic and music-based virtual reality and augmented reality experiences. She has experience in creative producing short films and music videos. She is a former creative director for digital marketing campaigns for film releases, film festivals, and music artists.

Marlene is currently working as a creative producer at Lemonlight Media, a leading video production agency. In her role, she brings her passion for storytelling, strategy and creativity to every project, working closely with clients to craft compelling and effective video campaigns.

Marlene's unique perspective and aesthetic are evident in her work, which spans a range of industries and mediums. She is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in video production, always seeking out new and innovative ways to tell stories.
